New Life Youth Camp Central 2025: 22nd - 24th April, Waikanae

Every year one of the biggest highlights of the youth year has been camp. All the youth in our New Life Movement from the Hawkes Bay to Wellington have gathered together in the April holidays for an epic few days at camp. There is something special and significant about going away to seek God for a few days together at a camp. It creates a new hunger for the things of God and builds friendships with each other.

All the info that you will need to know about camp is included in this letter. However, if you do have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with Sarah – details at the bottom of this letter. We are excited to spend these few days with your young person and expectant that this will be a powerful camp that will change their life!

Cost

This year we’ve got the price down to $149 per person! This is including the travel to and from camp. If you have special dietary requirements, this will be another $28 on top of the $149. Just for context - New Life have set the cost of the camp at $240 per person (+28 for special diet requirements), with travel on top of that – which for us this is the hire of a bus, which is going to cost over $5500. Fundraising makes a big difference, and we are grateful for all the support in our fundraising! Please note that our Youth account pays New Life on 15 April, and we can’t get refunds after that. So, we can organise swaps, but cannot guarantee refunds.

If finances are going to restrict your family’s ability to send your young person – please reach out to me, we can help!

Dates and Times

Camp is from Tuesday the 22nd of April to Thursday the 24th of April.
Drop off at Peak Vision Church – 7:45am, Tuesday 22nd April
Pick up from Peak Vision Church – around 6pm, Thursday 24th April (time TBC)

These times are subject to change so we will be in touch with you closer to the time!

Accommodation & Gear List

Everyone will be sleeping in cabins at El Rancho during the whole of camp. All cabins will be separated by genders with a youth leader overseeing them. At no time during camp will it be acceptable for youth to leave the site or to be in or around cabins of the opposite gender. As well as the usual items you would pack to go away somewhere for a couple of nights your teenager will need to bring a pillow, sleeping bag, togs & towel.

Youth Leaders

Each year we have a very capable team of Pastors, Leaders, selected adults and security that will look out for all those that are attending. It is our goal to do everything we can to help them have the best experience at camp, while keeping them safe the entire time. Only leaders will have access to the caregiver contact details provided in the registration form to contact you if they need to.
