Losing faith can lead to numbness, complacency, and at times criticism. Kent discusses a story about Jesus and Peter that focuses on faith, sanctification, and overcoming spiritual numbness.

The story recounts Peter and his business partners catching an overwhelming amount of fish after following Jesus' instruction, leading Peter to recognise Jesus' divine power and follow him. Kent further explains sanctification as both a positional (declared holy through faith) and progressive (growing in holiness) process.
